The M220 rear axle housing on the JL has pronounced ridges that can catch on a rock or the edge of an obstacle. This MetalCloak skid plate covers those points and creates a smooth surface that slides over the terrain. The skid is made from 3/16″ steel and designed as a simple bolt-on solution. The Gold Zinc Chromate finish helps limit corrosion, and the fit comes from precise CNC/laser cutting.
